E. H. Miller School's Annual Business Partner Appreciation Breakfast and Fall Festival on Oct. 30th were a huge success! The event's goal is to bring our business partners, outside agencies, staff, students, and parents together as a community, to have fun celebrating the fall season.
E. H. Miller School is blessed to have over 60 businesses and outside agencies that partner with us to provide resources for our students. Represented at the Fall Business Partner Appreciation Breakfast & Festival this year were:
Seminole Electric, Capital City Bank, 4 Wheel Solutions, Badcock Furniture, Valentine Bail Bonds, St. Johns Autobody, Sleep Inn, Pilot Club of Palatka, Achor Club of PHS, Stewart -Marchman, Department of Juvenile Justice, and SEDNET.
Students & their families enjoyed snow-cones, freshly popped popcorn, and participating in contests at the 20 booths-each operated by PHS Anchor Club students, Pilot Club members and the ESE department staff. Since EHM serves special needs students, the booth contests and prizes are carefully planned for wheelchair accessibility and safety. It was a joyful day, with a costume contest, a pizza lunch for the whole school provided by Seminole Electric, and finally a dance in the cafeteria.
We say THANK YOU so much to these businesses who have partnered with E.H. Miller School:
